Dr. Ananth Prabhu G is a Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering and Principal Investigator at the Digital Forensics and Cyber Security Centre of Excellence, Sahyadri College of Engineering and Management. He is the Director of TorSecure Cyber LLP and SurePass Academy. He holds a B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering, an MTech in Computer Science, and an MBA in Information Science from Manipal University, a PhD in Computer Science and Engineering from VTU, post-doctoral research fellowships at the University of Leicester, UK, and the University of Houston Downtown, Texas, and a diploma in Cyber Law from the Government Law College, Mumbai.

He has delivered over 3,000 lectures and is a guest faculty member at the National Judicial Academy, the National Academy for Customs Indirect Taxes and Narcotics, the Bureau of Police Research and Development, the Karnataka Police Academy, the Karnataka Judicial Academy, and the Intelligence Security Academy. His sessions draw on cyber law, digital forensics, public cyber-safety programmes, and his work as an author of 19 books. He appears in national and international discussions on cyber security, artificial intelligence, and education, and he keeps the emphasis on practical steps an audience can use.
